The week's news in the ceramics world
📙 I highly recommend reading this article on navigating the market as a studio artist. It's the first part of a series of articles on this subject, published by Studio Potter.
🔥 Craft Victoria just concluded their digital festival titled 'Craft Contemporary'. With over 90 artists and 45 events, the festival aimed to celebrate how contemporary craft is being practiced by makers across the Australian state of Victoria. You can read and watch dozens of articles and videos on their website. They did a fantastic job and I hope to see similar events in other countries too!
👌 Artists from all over the world are invited to submit work for exhibition alongside members of the Royal Society of British Artists at their Annual Exhibition 2021. The exhibition offers several prizes and awards, worth over 5.000 GBP.

🏗 The Crafts Gallery of The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, reopened in a new location after relocating and reassembling two buildings from the Meiji period (1868–1912). The museum has a collection of over 3900 works over a variety of fields, including ceramics.
