Study ceramics at Kunstuniversität Linz, Austria
Kunstuniversität Linz, Austria invites applications for BA and MA programmes in Sculptural Conceptions / Ceramics. The university has a strong commitment to modernism and contemporary art and operates at the interface between free, artistic, applied, science-focused creation and art. Applications are open online until September 1, 2020.

🌳 We've all heard of the Beirut explosion on August 4th. Unfortunately, Beirut's art community was severely impacted by the event and many galleries have now closed. Pik'd, a gallery that focuses on ceramic and glass art was also hit - please contact them directly if you'd like to help. ⚫ The ceramic art community is sad to learn about the passing of Japanese ceramic artist Ryoji Koie (b. 1938), a wonderful person and a very innovative artist. Read this short interview to understand more about his energy. May his work always be remembered and cherished.
🔍 Navarrete, Spain, held the 12th National Meeting of Pottery and Ceramics (N.A.CE 2020) that focused on terra sigillata, despite the coronavirus pandemic.
📍 The International Ceramics Symposium Römhild, Thüringen, Germany opened their applications for the XII edition, to take place in August 2021 (Deadline: September 30) and The Port Moody Arts Centre (Vancouver area, Canada) invites applications for their 2020/2021 Ceramic Artist in Residence (Deadline: August 30). 📍 The Clay Center of New Orleans seeks proposals for a solo artist exhibition to be on display February 26 - March 27, 2021 in the Clay Center’s gallery space in the heart of New Orleans. Submissions deadline: September 15.
📍 The Taoxichuan Art Center, an international studio located in Jingdezhen, China opened the applications for the 2021 & 2022 Artist Residencies.
