#20 – A contemporary art fair showing ceramics
Ceramics Now Weekly #20 features ceramic exhibitions at Liste Art Fair, the week's news in the ceramics world and new artists.
Hello! Welcome to the 20th edition of Ceramics Now Weekly. This is Vasi Hirdo, the founding editor of Ceramics Now.
I hope you are doing well today 👋 Let’s see what's new.
A contemporary art fair showing ceramics
Ceramic art is more and more present at contemporary art fair around the world. One example is Liste Art Fair, taking place now in Basel, Switzerland. Six galleries selected by the Liste Committee are featuring ceramic artworks at the fair. It's refreshing to see this renewed interest in ceramics, and I hope that more ceramicists will start to consider exhibiting at art fairs, with or without a gellery representation.
Other art fairs that presented ceramic exhibitions earlier this month include MIART Milano, Design Miami, Basel or The Armory Show, New York.
New artists featured on Ceramics Now
Run mainly by its founder, Ceramics Now needs the resources to grow into a stronger publication that can better represent its community.
