News from the ceramic art world
🎉 The Clay Studio's annual signature fundraising event, Mud Ball, will take place this week on Thursday, September 17, and this time it's a virtual event!
🗾 The Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia presents Contemporary Japanese Ceramics from the Horvitz Collection. The exhibition represents three generations of artists, some of whom were part of the Sodeisha group.
🏡 This weekend, a pottery festival with 25 artists, 12 exhibitions, demonstrations and several other connected events will take place in the charming small town of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, France. The town has a population of only 386.
📍 Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts (Newcastle, Maine) invites visitors to visit Outstanding in the Field, an outdoors exhibition featuring sculptural works created by Natalia Arbelaez, Ruth Borgenicht, Dan Molyneux, and Anna Marie Valenti.
📍 Baltimore Clayworks presents We Are Clay, an exhibition featuring 20 artists that celebrates the beauty and versatility of clay and its ability to be a catalyst for building community.
