#7 – Scholarships and funds for artists
Ceramics Now Weekly #7 features two calls for application, scholarships and funds for artists, new artists and news from the ceramics world.
Hello and welcome to the 7th edition of Ceramics Now Weekly. This is Vasi Hirdo, the founding editor of Ceramics Now.
I hope you’re doing great today 👋 Let’s see what’s new.
Scholarships and funds for artists
Artists all over the world are facing financial difficulties due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. To support artists, organizations such as Artist Relief are distributing funds for artists (living in the US). You can find more scholarships here, here and here.
Also, Ceramics Coach Dr Wendy Gers is inviting applications for Covid Solidarity Scholarships to support artists facing professional challenges. Applications are open for ceramic artists all over the world until October 14.
