I started Ceramics Now almost 15 years ago mainly because I couldn't find what I was looking for: thoughtful writing about ceramics, artist profiles, exhibition coverage, and practical resources for ceramic artists, all in one place.

Since the beginning, Ceramics Now has been free and accessible to everyone. We've never had a paywall, and I believe it should stay that way. But that's only possible with support from our readers.

We're an independent publication with no outside funding, no board of directors, and no big organization behind us. Just a small team of people who love ceramics and want to spotlight incredible artists and projects from around the world.

Over the past twelve months, more than 700,000 people have visited our website. We published dozens of articles and artist profiles, worked with an amazing group of writers, and relaunched Ceramics Now Magazine as a beautifully designed, ad-free digital publication. But running this platform takes time, attention, and money—costs that advertising alone cannot cover. Without member support, keeping Ceramics Now running might not be possible.
