Spencer Wells, a New York City-based photographer, filmmaker and writer, visited and photographed Jono Pandolfi’s ceramics studio a few months ago. News from the ceramic art world
🔍 In the last edition of this newsletter I included a list of online ceramic workshops and got some wonderful replies! First of all, someone mentioned that hosts should add these events to the Studio Potter's calendar, and secondly, here are some new workshops: Amanda Salov - Pigment and Porcelain (online) and Peter Callas at Saratoga Clay Arts Center (offline).

📍 The Ninth Annual Michiana Pottery Tour will take place online this Saturday, September 26, beginning at 10 AM eastern time.
🎓 The University for the Creative Arts based in Farnham, UK (90 minutes away from London) is hiring a Technician Tutor in Ceramics.
⚡ To celebrate London Craft Week and the launch of FiredUp4, Kit Kemp will be in conversation with leading ceramicist Kate Malone and interior designer Nina Campbell. The pane will discuss the benefits of ceramics and creativity, and will mark the launch of the campaign that will result in an online auction hosted by Maak, in 19 November. Tickets available here.
👌 Organized by a team of fantastic people, Latvia International Ceramics Biennale opened the applications for the MARTINSONS AWARD International Ceramics Competition within frames of the 3rd Latvia Ceramics Biennale in 2021. Make sure you apply!
